Each year on April 1, I find myself wishing that I had finally dreamed up the perfect prank to pull on someone, or at the very least, had mastered the successful delivery of at least one really funny joke without completely blowing the punch line. Alas, the world is once again spared from these efforts. As April unfolds, I will be sharing many ideas of how to add LAUGHTER into your life. The good news is whether you are funny or not, just laughing itself has enormous health benefits!
Laughter, like yawning, is contagious, so when someone else laughs, you are likely to imitate it, and before you know it, you could be laughing till it hurts. (That’s a great work-out!) All the other health benefits will follow (decreasing stress, anxiety and depression, to name just a few).
If you are one of the lucky people who is successful in pulling funny pranks, I invite you to share your April Fools success stories here, so those of us less gifted in this area can learn a few tricks and we can all get the giggles!
If I had prepared properly, here's my favorite prank that I found. Maybe next year I'll actually do this one, so look out!

Whatever you do today, I hope you will share a smile and a laugh with those you encounter, and if you find yourself feeling the fool, know that in the world of laughter yoga, the more silly and playful, the more likely you are to laugh, and that is the goal:
Laugh for the Health of It. It works!
